about

This idea started as a jam for a new band project with former Nisi Period band mate, guitarist David Yanolis and Ethan Hershman who played in a later version of the band. The project was called Didactics, and while we recorded enough ideas for at least two solid albums, life got in the way (as it often does) and the project was left stranded on a sidewalk somewhere.

Flashing forward a number of years, I just got my old Rick from the shop and next thing I knew, I had recorded the bass and drum parts for this jam. I decided to reach out with Dave and see if he was cool about my using this tune and if he'd play on it. Life got in the way again and many many months later, Dave sent me some tracks. There was no other guitarist who could have done this and I am forever grateful.

Some things have a habit of working out on their own.
