Originally a much dancier robotic groove initially, but bringing the bass and drums to the foreground gives it a more live feel. I was hanging out with my old friend from high school, Pashawari Cohen, who was showing off some elegant handmade drums he had and just fit right into the material. We recorded some hand drums on a bunch of tracks. It was great to have him on this project!
